Paul Jhin is a co-founder of NAPIPA and previously served as the Northern California Chapter Vice-President. He is on the gang unit at the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office. Mr. Jhin previously worked at the Contra Costa and San Mateo District Attorneys' offices.  He received his BA from UC Berkeley and JD from the University of San Diego. At USD Law School, Mr. Jhin served as President of APALSA.

Wade Chow graduated from Yale Law School in 1993.  He joined the San Francisco District Attorney's office in 1996 after federal judicial clerkship and stints at Latham and Keker.  He is currently serving as Chief of Brady, Appellate and Training Division.  Mr. Chow is also in charge of the SFDA Hiring Committee and internship programs.

Deshawn Madha is a Deputy District Attorney at the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office. Deshawn currently works in the preliminary hearing unit based in Redwood City, where he handles a variety of serious and violent crime.   Deshawn earned his law degree from UC Hastings in San Francisco and is a proud alumnus of UC San Diego.

Traci Lee is a Deputy District Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office.  She was a DDA at the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office and the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.  Previously, she was a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office – District of Columbia and a Volunteer Attorney at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.  Traci received her BA from U.C. Berkeley and JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she spent a semester of law school studying at the National University of Singapore.

Abel started his career at the Stanislaus County District Attorney's Office in 2003 where he remained for approximately 8 years.  During that time, he was assigned to the Major Narcotics Vendor Prosecution Unit, Civil Asset Forfeiture Unit, Felony Trial Team, Felony Calendar and Misdemeanor Unit.  Abel was also specially assigned to gang and homicide cases.  Additionally, he was assigned to the Stanislaus Drug Enforcement Agency (S.D.E.A.) and tasked to the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Team (H.I.D.T.A.) as well as the California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team (CAL-MMET) where he worked large-scale multi-jurisdictional cases targeting drug trafficking organizations.  In 2011, Abel joined the Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office where he is currently the senior ADA in the Narcotics Unit and assigned to the Santa Cruz County Anti-Crime Team (S.C.C.A.C.T.)  In addition to his prosecutorial duties, he is an active instructor having taught courses on search warrants, confidential informants, and narcotics investigations to numerous prosecutors and law enforcement officers.

Senior Deputy District Attorney Jeff Mangar is currently assigned to the on-call Homicide Team as well as a collateral assignment to the white collar Real Estate Fraud Unit. Being on-call, Jeff goes to homicide scenes to assist law enforcement with search warrant issues, observe interviews of eyewitnesses/ suspects, and attend autopsies.   In 2011, Jeff became a licensed real estate broker, so that he could assist with the newly formed Real Estate Fraud Unit.  Jeff is also a Certified Legal Specialist in Criminal Law by the State Bar of California, past President of the Stanislaus County Peace Officers’ Association, past bar exam grader, and current board member on the Stanislaus County Bar Association.  For extracurricular activities, Jeff is a PADI Certified Advanced Scuba Diver as well as an FAA Certified Private Pilot.

Jennifer Ow is the felony Sex Assault and Domestic Violence prosecutor in Placer County. She has been a prosecutor for 18 years.  After a brief stint as a civil attorney in San Francisco, Jennifer joined the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office in 1999. Before leaving the San Mateo District Attorney’s Office, Jennifer was the Deputy in Charge of the Redwood City Branch. Prior to that, she was assigned to the Felony Sex Assault Unit for over 4 years and assisted with the training of law enforcement officers in San Mateo County Sex Assault Protocol.  In 2010, Jennifer received the Prosecutor of the Year Award for her successful prosecution of a number of violent sex offenders.

KIM MCNELIS

Kim McNelis has been a prosecutor with the Butte County District Attorney's Office since 2012.  Kim is currently prosecuting general felony cases, including assaults, robberies, and homicides.  She began her career at the Sacramento District Attorney's Office in the misdemeanor unit.  Kim graduated in 2009 with a JD from Whittier Law School and in 2006 with a BA and a BS from UC Davis.
